Head of Year 8
I am Dr. Owen, serving as a Science Teacher and the Head of Year 8. My academic background includes a PhD in soil science and plant biology. With over two years at GEMS Wellington and previous teaching experiences in the UK, I find teaching in Qatar to be a delightful experience. The students at our school contribute to the pleasure of my job with their inquisitive nature and contagious enthusiasm for learning. Being a fervent football and sports enthusiast, Qatar has provided me the opportunity to explore diverse sports like dressage, handball, and athletics. I eagerly look forward to guiding our students in their growth and development as high-achieving learners.
