Amy Mahmoudi

Head of Whole School Inclusion

I am very excited to be moving into my sixth year at GEMS Wellington School, Qatar. I spent a number of years in the UK as a SENCo, working in two large Secondary schools and a Special Educational Needs school before moving out to Qatar in 2017.

As Head of Inclusion at WSQ, I have an unwavering passion for ensuring that all students succeed on their own pathway.  I love the breadth of opportunity that my role brings; I am extremely lucky to be able to support children and their families who are just beginning their education, right up to those who are transitioning into the next stage of their journey.  I also get to work with a fantastic team of dedicated teaching and support staff at WSQ; together we strive to create an inclusive, high performing environment for all children in our care.

When I am not in school, I love to spend time with my husband and two young children, exploring cultures and cuisines both here and afar.
