Primary Maths Lead
I’m Sebiah Ali, and I’m continuing my role as Primary Maths Lead at GEMS WSQ. Originally from the UK, where I taught for several years across different year groups. I’ve always been drawn to the way maths combines logic and problem-solving, helping children build the skills to tackle challenges with confidence. Now in my second year at WSQ, it truly feels like home, and I’m excited to keep inspiring students to see maths not just as numbers, but as a powerful tool for understanding the world around them.
Whether it’s guiding children through new strategies or helping them discover that “lightbulb moment,” I’m passionate about building both skills and confidence across the Primary phase.
Outside of the classroom, you’ll usually find me at a Reformer Pilates session, enjoying a game of Padel, or exploring different cultures — always curious, always learning!
