Primary Writing Lead
My name is Halima Zaman, and I am the Primary Writing Lead at GEMS Wellington, Qatar. Originally from London, UK, I am now in my second year here and am passionate about inspiring children to become confident and creative writers. I love encouraging pupils to enjoy the process of putting pencil to paper, developing their ideas, and expressing themselves through writing. My aim is to nurture a school-wide love for writing, where every child sees themselves as an author with something valuable to share.
Outside of school, I enjoy keeping active at the gym, spending quality time with my daughter, and discovering the beauty and culture that Qatar has to offer.
