Bilaal Motara
Lower Key Stage 2 Phase Leader
My name is Bilaal Motara and I am the Lower Key Stage 2 Phase Leader at GEMS Wellington School. Originally from Birmingham, England, I have always been driven by a desire to work abroad and experience new cultures. This ambition brought me to Qatar, where I have been living and working for a number of years now. During this time I have only ever been part of the GEMS family and have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally in an international setting.
I am passionate about teamwork and collaboration, both in my professional role and personal interests. I enjoy watching team sports such as football and cricket and I regularly play golf, a sport that challenges my resilience and commitment to continuous growth. Beyond sport, I value opportunities to learn from others, share ideas and develop new approaches that enrich the experiences of both colleagues and students.
As an educator and leader I am committed to fostering a positive environment that promotes hard work, resilience and a growth mindset. I believe in empowering staff and students to achieve their best, celebrating successes along the way and learning from challenges. My goal is to lead a team dedicated to providing the very best for our children, ensuring they thrive academically, socially and personally while enjoying a fulfilling school experience.
