Integrated Curriculum Lead
My name is Amie Sherrard and I am the Integrated Curriculum Lead for Gems Wellington. I am from Northern Ireland and have been happily living in Qatar for the last five years. In my spare time, I like to read, going to the gym and walking around the lovely parks in Qatar. I also enjoy taking advantage of the many travel opportunities that are available from living in this part of the world!
I have loved my time teaching within an international community and working alongside a great team of dedicated teachers and enthusiastic learners. Within my role as Integrated Curriculum Lead, I get to work alongside teachers to create a curriculum which enables children to learn about the wider world both past and present. Children are able to ask big questions, show creativity and link their learning to their own contexts creating a group of curious and engaged learners.
