Ailisha Mallon
Head of Year 9
My name is Ailisha Mallon and I am The Head of Year 9 and a Humanities teacher.
I graduated from Queen’s University Belfast with an undergraduate degree in Geography in 2018. From there, I furthered my studies and qualified as a Secondary Geography teacher from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2019. I taught in an exceptionally high achieving grammar school in Northern Ireland for one year before taking the leap to live and work in Qatar in September 2020. During the last three years, I have been the Head of Humanities in a British school and have overseen all of the subjects in my department; learning a lot along the way!
I am an avid traveler and appreciate the beauty in all other cultures. I also enjoy playing and watching many sports such as Gaelic Football.
