Secondary Assistant Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form
Hello, my name is Gemma Relph and I am an Assistant Headteacher and Head of Sixth Form. Alongside my responsibilities in the Sixth Form I am a Physical Education teacher across both primary and secondary. Participating in sports has always been a passion of mine, especially football. I play in the women’s competitive league here in Qatar and have been lucky enough to meet David Beckham and train with the Bayern Munich women’s football team. Originally I am from the south east of England, UK where I started my teaching career. I have been in a variety of middle leadership roles including Head of Department and Head of Year. This is my fourth year at WSQ which I am thoroughly enjoying as the Sixth Form expands, I am passionate in supporting our students to grow, learn and develop into outstanding global citizens by the time they graduate from us and head into the wider world. I am dedicated to my educational studies and have already completed the NPQSL course and now focusing on developing my coaching to refine my leadership and empower others in the process.
