Chris Robinson

Assistant Headteacher - Student Achievement

Christopher Robinson is Assistant Headteacher for Primary Student Achievement at GEMS Wellington School, Qatar. With experience across Northern Ireland, England and Qatar, he is passionate about raising attainment, driving innovation and ensuring every pupil achieves their full potential.

Christopher believes that exceptional outcomes are achieved through high-quality teaching, strong systems and a commitment to continuous improvement. His approach combines high expectations with a focus on innovation, ensuring pupils benefit from engaging learning experiences that prepare them for success both now and in the future.

Throughout his career, Christopher has held a range of teaching and leadership positions, including Assessment and Data Coordinator and Senior Leader at The Swaminarayan School in London, where he contributed to an Outstanding ISI inspection and played a key role in school improvement planning. Since joining GEMS Wellington School, Qatar in 2019, he has served as Primary Assessment Lead, Primary Computing Lead, Innovation and Digital Lead, and Whole-School Digital Transformation Coordinator. His work has supported the development of curriculum, digital platforms and school-wide initiatives, while contributing significantly to accreditation processes including HPL, BSO and WAS.

Christopher holds a Bachelor of Education (Hons) from Queen's University Belfast and is currently completing the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL). He is also recognised as a Microsoft Advanced Educator.
