Tamara Crosdale
Head of Secondary Mathematics
My name is Tamara Crosdale and I lead on Mathematics at GEMS Wellington School. I started my career in Jamaica but moved to the UK where I lived and taught Maths for 14 years before moving to Qatar. I worked as Second in charge of Maths as well as a head of Maths in previous schools. In addition to my teaching roles, I have also been a GCSE Examiner with Edexcel for four years. I have found this to be extremely useful as it helps me to give pupils better insights into answering questions to maximise the number of marks they achieve. I am enjoying working with the young people here at Wellington as they echo my passion and interest in the subject. In my spare time I enjoy reading a wide range of literature and making resources to enhance my practice.
