Cathal Tighe
Head of Year 11
My name is Cathal Tighe. I am Head of Year 11 and a Business and Economics teacher.
I graduated from Limerick with an undergraduate degree in Marketing and Management in 2019. I moved to Doha in 2019 working as a Business and Economics teacher where I furthered my studies in the University of Sunderland, completing my PGCE in Business and Economics.
I have worked in Qatar for the past 5 years in both International and British curriculums. I have been at GEMS for the past three years where I have enjoyed every minute of it. I will continue to support and seek the best from all of our students.
I love to travel, socialize with my friends and above all get involved in lots of sports such as Gaelic Football and Hurling.
